Project Goals:

• Preservation and transfer of original Archival Collection (film, video, paper & photo)
• Archival Standard Inventory & Catalogue of Archival Collection (with Master, Working and Loaner copies of each item)
• Physical transfer of archival items from various collections to standardized storage facility

• Preliminary research on:

• Membership with regional archival association (AABC)
• Consultation with preservationist consultants as regards to paper and photo archives with action plan for those items
• Communications with transfer technician regarding transfer and preservation methods for video/film collection
• Transfer of film/video collection to temperature and humidity controlled storage facility
• Appointment set with Film Preservation Consultant to finalize storage facility requirements and transfer process
• Preliminary inventory with content/description/dates etc. compiled and updated/verified

• Fundraising for transfer, consultant, storage & archival material costs
• Scanning, photocopying & preservation of photo & paper archives
• Transfer and preservation of film & video archives
• Creation of Master, working and loaner copies
• Creation of public catalogue and archival standard inventory
